Details
As all-ceramic restorations enter their heyday, the demand for reinforced ceramics based mainly on lithium disilicate, like zirconia, continues to grow without stopping.
Isn't this proof that there is a perfect separation between the two in today's material selection?
Zirconia with stable strength and reproducibility of brightness, and lithium disilicate with high adhesion to tooth structure and translucency. Both of them have attractive characteristics, but if the criteria for selecting the right material for the right place and the technical response that makes the most of those characteristics are not solid, we will simply rely on the potential of the restorative material. .
